Rupert Fane

Rupert, an early investor and Non-Executive Director at Audere, provides strategic guidance on the company's expansion into new global markets. His leadership has been pivotal in shaping Audere’s growth trajectory since its inception.
Formerly a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan until 2012, Rupert co-founded the investment bank, Hannam & Partners. With over 20 years of experience in capital markets, he has advised and raised capital for clients across London, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, spanning various industries and geographies.
Rupert holds a BSc from Bristol University, and his deep expertise in financial markets continues to support Audere’s global ambitions.
Ian Macfarlane
Non Executive Director
Ian brings over 35 years of experience in derivatives markets to Audere, where he serves as a Non-Executive Director, providing critical strategic insight. His leadership experience, including 20 years as a Board Director at JC Rathbone Associates, has been instrumental in guiding Audere’s strategy to challenge larger, established firms in the multi-asset advisory sector.
Before his consultancy career, Ian worked in investment banking for a decade at Daiwa Bank Capital Management, trading the bank’s capital, and spent 6 years in financial engineering at ANZ Merchant Bank in London and Australia.
Ian’s extensive expertise in financial risk management and capital markets makes him a key driver in helping Audere innovate and grow efficiently.
Mathew Hardcastle
Non Executive Director
Non-Executive Director, providing vital strategic insight. His extensive background as an investor and advisor, including key roles at CIL and Inflexion, has been instrumental in shaping Audere’s growth strategy and broadening its market reach.
Before joining Audere, Matthew developed his expertise at CIL and Inflexion, where he focused on driving business growth and navigating complex market dynamics. In his current role at Intapp, leading financial services solutions, he leverages his knowledge to help Audere adopt innovative solutions and improve operational efficiency.

Founder & Chief Operating Officer
Jack is a founding Director of Audere, instrumental in guiding the company's growth and strategic development from its inception. His leadership has been pivotal in shaping Audere’s trajectory, leveraging his entrepreneurial skillset to drive the company's success and innovation.
Before transitioning to financial advisory, Jack built a strong foundation in accounting and corporate finance with UHY and Numis Securities. These early roles equipped him with critical financial insights and strategic acumen, which he now applies to spearhead Audere's strategic initiatives and expansion efforts.
Jack’s blend of founding leadership and expertise in finance underscores his role in Audere’s continued success. His strategic vision and financial acumen are key to navigating the company through growth challenges and capitalising on emerging opportunities.
Harry Welch
Group Financial Controller
Harry commenced his professional journey at KPMG, where he gained foundational expertise in financial management. He further honed his skills as Group Financial Accountant at Morgan Advanced Materials PLC, a FTSE250 company, where he played a critical role in overseeing complex financial operations.
At Audere, Harry manages the financial operations across the company’s three divisions. He oversees reporting requirements and develops fiscal strategies that underpin our investment decisions and expansion plans.
Charlie Long
Chief Operations Advisor
Charlie brings 20 years of corporate and financial services experience, primarily within London’s equity capital markets, to his role at Audere. His extensive background equips him with a deep understanding of market dynamics and strategic business analysis.
In his capacity at Audere, Charlie serves as a chief operations advisor, where he plays a crucial role in steering the company's expansion plans and investment activities. Matteo Smolari
Executive Director, Quantitative Division
Matteo Smolari is an Executive Director at Audere, leading the Quantitative and Analytics Division. He specialises in FX risk management, big data processing, and institutional client trade execution. Previously, Matteo spent 10 years as Head of FX Risk Management at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, where he oversaw bespoke currency overlay solutions for institutional clients.
At Edmond de Rothschild, Matteo led a team managing FX hedging strategies and was instrumental in expanding the firm's currency overlay business across Europe.
Matteo holds an MSc in Financial Engineering and Risk Management from the University of Lausanne. He is also CISI qualified in regulations and derivatives and has completed the ACT Certificate in International Treasury Management.
Francesco Podesta
Executive Director, Head of Financial Institutions
Francesco is the Executive Director at Audere, leading the Institutional Advisory Division with a focus on Interest Rates and FX risk management. With over 15 years of experience, he advises corporate and financial institutions on navigating financial market risks.
Before joining Audere in 2021, Francesco held senior roles at JCRA/Chatham Financial, managing key projects across Europe, Africa, and emerging markets. He also spent seven years at J.P. Morgan as a Senior Associate in FICC sales, developing complex derivatives solutions for clients.
Francesco holds an ACT Diploma in Treasury, an ACT Certificate in International Treasury Management, a Diploma in Economic Sciences, and an MSc in Corporate Finance and Financial Markets.
Paco Carballo
Head of Accounting for Derivatives
Francisco (Paco) Carballo leads the Derivatives Accounting department at Audere, where he provides bespoke solutions for risk management and hedge accounting to clients. Since joining in 2022, Paco has played a crucial role in helping clients navigate complex financial reporting and risk mitigation strategies.
Before joining Audere, Paco gained over 15 years of experience working at leading firms such as JCRA, EY, Chatham Financial, and Deloitte. He specialised in advising non-financial companies on managing financial risks and hedge accounting, ensuring compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and UK GAAP standards.
Earlier in his career, Paco oversaw derivatives sales desks at several top international banks, including Sumitomo, Commerzbank, Credit Lyonnais, Banco Sabadell, and Banco Santander, operating in both London and Spain. He holds both a Bachelor's and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from ESADE in Barcelona.
Lionel Kruger
Head of Global Markets
Lionel Kruger leads Audere’s Commodities and Global Markets division, overseeing the firm’s international operations with a primary focus on the commodity markets. His expertise lies in delivering risk management solutions for large-scale infrastructure and project finance transactions, along with debt origination.
With over 30 years of experience in investment banking, Lionel has developed a strong background in debt origination and derivative instruments. Prior to joining Audere, he headed JCRA’s Africa business, where he provided advisory services on currency and commodity risks for major infrastructure projects.
Before his time at JCRA, Lionel successfully ran a consultancy in Johannesburg for 16 years, advising clients on financial risk management. His extensive experience and leadership make him a key figure in Audere’s global market operations.
Henry Longstaff
Executive Director, Corporates
Henry Longstaff is the Executive Director of the Corporates Division at Audere, where he manages the outbound Adda Analytics BDR team. His leadership underpins the divisions growth initiatives, enhancing strategic client engagement, and broadening the firm’s corporate relationships.
When joining Audere in 2017 as an Associate, Henry was a key contributor to the development of the firm’s CSR division, before transitioning into corporate portfolio management.
Henry holds a CISI qualification in regulations and derivatives and earned his Bachelor's degree in History. His longstanding position at the company and qualifications underpin his role in steering Audere’s Analytics division towards continued success and strategic expansion.
Curtis Noble
Executive Director, Head of INGO Markets
Curtis is the Executive Director and Head of INGO Markets at Audere’s CSR division Charitytransfers.org.
Since 2019, he has been instrumental in growing the INGO division, which now services over 200 international non-governmental organizations.
Before joining Audere, Curtis headed the non-profits trading desk at Western Union Bank and held senior roles across the foreign exchange industry.
Curtis is CISI qualified in regulations and derivatives and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. His knowledge and experience continue to play a vital role in Audere's ongoing success and its commitment to serving the global nonprofit community.
Paolo Bordi
European Origination, Institutions
With over 30 years of experience in financial services, Paolo has developed deep expertise in investment research, asset allocation, risk management, and institutional business development.
He previously served as Head of Italian Institutional Clients at Edmond de Rothschild and at AXA IM, where he advised on both traditional and alternative investments. Before these roles, Paolo led asset allocation and risk management at Capitalia AM (now Amundi) and was Head of Investment Research at RAS (now Allianz).
Paolo began his career as an advisor at Assogestioni, the Italian Association of Asset Managers.
Jonathan Lye
Origination, Real-Estate
Jonathan is an Associate Partner at Audere, where he specialises in origination and advisory services within the real estate sector. With over a decade of experience in financial risk management, he has advised clients in real estate, private equity, and corporate sectors. His previous roles in management consultancy, working in banking and the public sector, have given him valuable insights into various business models.
Jonathan's time serving as an Army Officer continues to influence his decision-making and leadership style. His disciplined approach helps him deliver effective strategies tailored to his clients' needs.
He holds an MBA from Cass Business School and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol, bringing a strong technical and business foundation to his work.

Nikita Barsukov

Nikita is the Head of Implementation at Audere, where he is leading the development of analytics modules for Adda Analytics. With over 10 years of experience in software engineering and data science, he brings substantial expertise to his role, driving innovation and enhancing our analytics capabilities.
Previously, Nikita was responsible for data analytics for Dynamics Business Central, a flagship ERP product from Microsoft. This experience sharpened his skills in managing complex data systems and delivering sophisticated analytical solutions.
Nikita’s extensive background in data science and software engineering makes him a key asset at Audere. His leadership in developing advanced analytics for Adda Analytics and his prior experience with major ERP solutions are vital in advancing our technological initiatives and supporting our strategic growth objectives.
Syfur Rahman
Chief Compliance Advisor
Syfur brings over 12 years of experience in compliance and anti-money laundering (AML) to Audere. His career began at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he gained foundational expertise, and he has since advanced to senior roles at Barings Asset Management, Centricus Asset Management, and most recently Hannam and Partners.
His extensive background in compliance and AML has equipped him with deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk management. Syfur’s experience across prominent financial institutions underscores his capability to navigate complex regulatory environments and implement robust compliance strategies.
